Since HBCU colleges were conceived, they have continued to play the vital role of ensuring access for people of color to U.S. education systems and have a proven track record of graduating Black talent. However, our communities of color continue to be devastated by systemic racism, economic disparities, and unequal access to opportunities in the workplace.
The B.E.S.T. program has found a solution by developing an efficient and effective model that successfully brings visibility to the talent pool of HBCU college educated Blacks in America.
It is a studied fact that ethnically diverse companies are 35% more likely to experience above average ROI (McKinsey & Company), yet many professional hiring interests continue to tout difficulties in locating Black talent.
While the B.E.S.T. Program has the potential and capacity to expand to include all 105 HBCU colleges in the United States, the initial program rollout is slated to focus on a mix of private and public institutions centrally located in or near the DMV.
